Recycle Hancock County is offering portable recycling containers to be borrowed for events. These bins are available at no charge and are on a first come, first served basis. Bins are available for non-profits, businesses, organizations, churches and residents. A deposit may be required upon pick-up but will be refunded when bins are returned. The frames are easy to transport and carry. Frames use 40-gallon clear recycling bags, not provided. (Clear bags help attendees see that recycling is being collected.)
Place recycling containers next to trash containers for best results and least contamination. Track the number of bags of recycling collected at your event to report back to Recycle Hancock County so results can be documented.
